I think it is best just not to open any of the suspect messages.

They seem to be programmed to post & spam the list (e.g. msgs from S

I hope it is possible to have them all shut down.

I’m so sorry about this.

I have deleted all the spam messages and the fake users who posted them.

I am investigating how on Earth they managed to get on to the site because as all of you know, our system requires a personal response from each member to verify that they are genuine users before we activate the account.

I can only apologise and thank you for alerting me to the problem.
