Cherry Rudge - Director of Rainbow Red
Cherry is the daughter of a hoarder. She was actively involved in the development of Hoarding Awareness week with the CFOA Hoarding Working Group. Cherry actively campaigns to raise awareness around health and safety issues associated with clutter, disorganisation and hoarding behaviours, to increase support for people affected by them.
Linda Fay – Founder of Life Pod
In 2014, Linda became the UK’s only practitioner to hold Specialist Certificates in Chronic Disorganisation & Hoarding Disorder; an accolade she still holds today. Her organisation, Life Pod, helps people who are affected by hoarding and other conditions that result in clutter and chronic disorganisation by adopting a person-centred approach to creating long-term sustainable behaviour change. They do not condone enforced clear-outs. Their guiding principle is ‘do no harm’. They embrace human diversity and respond with care and compassion to every individual client.
Apdo – The Association of Professional De-clutterers & Organisers has an online directory which helps UK clients find a local member to suit their particular organising or decluttering needs. They may have de-clutterers in your area, but please be aware that not everyone specialises in working in hoarded properties, so do ask before arranging an appointment.
