Yes, it’s very easy to get down on ourselves for “not doing enough.”I may have already shared this woman’s video on another thread, but I found it very inspiring. She has a lot of remaining clutter to go through, but she praises herself for what she
hasaccomplished. A good lesson for those of us who get discouraged and down on ourselves. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iy0Lmye-fqMhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iy0Lmye-fqM” class=”bbcode_url”> (((hugs)))

ParticipantI think not nagging yourself is a good idea! I think a certain level of acceptance even helps with the clearing. This is how it is, how can I make it work for me kind of approach. I remind myself that I clear for myself not for other people. I have let some people see certain level of chaos. Most of them handle it surprisingly well. Some don’t, but they usually don’t come back
I have a question that I started asking myself lately: Do I benefit from keeping it? A lot of times the answer is no. Often for things that are still useful. If I still can#t let go I ask myself if keeping it might turn it into a burden. Often enough the answer is yes. Usually by that time I can let it go, even with levels of anxiety.
It’s there. No level of stressing over it will fix it. Accepting it will clear emotional capacities to deal with it.
